Ken Gosnell

Chair

Ken comes to C12 as an executive with master degrees in both administration and divinity. He is a master trainer and was recognized as one of the top 150 training consultants in world by the Dale Carnegie organization. Ken is committed to bring C12 to the business community in Central Maryland and the DC Washington metro area. His mission is to help business owners achieve Christ-given goals and objectives to honor God with their businesses and their lives.

Ken’s leadership experience extends to the business, government, and non-profit arenas. He has a heart for business as ministry which has led him to practice leadership that impacted families with the National Institutes of Health. During Ken’s tenure with Health and Human Services he received numerous awards, was recognized for business acumen, and was asked to lead several important task groups to bring innovation and change in how government does business.

Ken has used his leadership gifts in serving churches in Missouri, Virginia, and in Maryland, where he helped to plant a new church in the Frederick, Maryland area. During this time he also served as a Vice President for a national non-profit on an critical societal issue which lead him to help businesses and organizations around the country develop initiatives and programs that would generate profits and revenues to grow their organizations. Along the way, Ken has developed proposals and led major projects encompassing millions of dollars in revenue.

Family life is important and essential spiritual component to Ken. He has a passion to leave a Godly legacy in both business and in his family for future generations. Ken and his beautiful wife Shonda have four children, Carli, Caleb, Kaiden, and Kyston. Ken enjoys playing football with his kids and taking them on beach vacations.

J. Oscar Ramirez

Chair

J. Oscar Ramirez is a results driven executive with a strong background combining business, law, community and volunteer experience. He holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree from University of Oklahoma and a joint J.D. / M.B.A. degree from Regent University School of Law. Oscar’s leadership experience extends to the operation environments of non-profit, government, and business. He considers himself a life-long learner.

Oscar brings a unique perspective having experienced first-hand the impact of C12 membership both in Texas and Maryland areas prior to joining C12. With over twenty years of management experience, Oscar spent the last ten years as the Pres/CEO of an economic development, mission-driven and servant leadership focused non-profit serving “the least of these,” in San Antonio, TX. Through his work, Oscar has managed multimillion dollar private and public sector projects and programs of impact to the communities served. As a proactive, visionary business leader, Oscar looks forward to applying his life experiences combined with his analytical ability to develop and implement a C12 practice that enhances and transforms the lives of its participants while pursuing a shared sense of purpose.

Oscar is the proud father of two children, a daughter in college and a son with special needs, which has represented a tremendous blessing despite the challenges. He married his best friend, Marieli, an integrated communications executive with similar passions, in Feb 2014, and moved to the DC Metro area. They attend Gracia Soberana of Gaithersburg where he is involved in small groups and providing leadership for the Financial Peace University curriculum. Oscar enjoys traveling, spending time with family, being involved in missions, and sports activities. Oscar also holds a second degree black belt in the sport of Judo and at one time was ranked in the top five of his category here in the US.
